Policies & Info
General
Health & Vaccinations:
Important: Proof of up-to-date vaccines are required before visiting for a meet & greet, boarding, training, daycare, etc.
• Dogs must be current on Rabies, Bordetella, and DHPP vaccines.
• Vaccines must be given by a licensed vet at least 14 days before your dog's visit, unless your dog has resided in your home for at least 30 days.
• Flea/tick and heartworm prevention is required
• Disclose any medical conditions, allergies (food, environmental, etc), or medications before booking.
• We can administer pill-form medications. More complex needs must be discussed in advance.
Drop-Off & Pick-Up:
• All pickups and drop-offs are by appointment only. They are required to be scheduled at minimum a day prior. While we are typically flexible on time, we need to do this for multiple reason (mentioned below).
• We cannot accommodate unscheduled arrivals - client dogs are in active care and not left unattended. Along with this, we have other clients scheduled daily for meet & greets, private lessons, appointments, and training sessions throughout the day. Our entire lives revolve around dogs, so we want to give each of them the best care and attention.
•Please notify if you may be running a little behind or early, so we can make sure the gate is open for you.
Meet & Greets:
Before your dog’s first boarding or day camp stay, we usually require a one-time meet and greet at our home to ensure they’re a good fit. If we discuss prior to booking that your dog is verifiably safe and non-aggressive, the meet and greet may be waived. You are always welcome regardless to come visit and meet us first, however!
Dogs Outside of Our Program Requirements:
• Aggression (toward people or dogs)
• Destructive behavior or severe separation anxiety
• Signs of illness or are in heat
• Fence jumping/escape behaviors
Due to safety, we cannot accommodate dogs that exhibit the above. If your dog exhibits these behaviors, you will be required to have your emergency contact come pick them up. Females in heat can potentially be separated, upon discussion with the owner and availability of room to separate.
Social Play Preferences:
Let us know if you’re comfortable with your dog participating in group play. We group dogs by size, temperament, and energy level. It is absolutely fine if you prefer your dog to not socialize with others, as we can accommodate accordingly.
Deposits & Payment:
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your dog’s stay for boarding or training, unless otherwise decided upon, as we offer flexibility to repeat clients or special circumstances.
Bookings are confirmed only after the deposit is received. The remaining balance is due before or at drop-off via Venmo, Zelle, or cash.
Cancellations made at least 72 hours in advance are eligible for a refund, excluding holidays which require a 5 day notice to allow individuals on our waiting list for holidays the opportunity to book.
No shows are non-refundable, as a 72 hour notice is required.
We do not offer refunds for early pick-ups.
Emergency Contact:
All dogs in our care are required to have an emergency contact on file.

Boarding
For boarding, we ensure every dog is provided with care just like they get at home. This includes meals, play time (or relaxing for our older pups), potty breaks, etc.
All you need to provide is:
-Vaccination records
-Their food
-Emergency contact info
-Any info regarding usual routine, quirks, allergies, if you'd be open to them socializing with other dogs or prefer otherwise, and any medications required.
We have leashes, bedding, bowls, treats, and everything else to keep them comfortable.

Training
Training programs require a 50% booking deposit upon scheduling and confirmation. The remainder is due upon drop off.
We have referrals available for aggression cases, however at this time we do not work on aggression behavioral cases.
Note: Training requires a certain level of commitment from the owner. While we work our hardest to ensure a well-trained dog, we encourage owners to have some time to devote to maintenance of their dog's new skills.
An example would be that you're provided a new car. If you drive it daily but don't upkeep the maintenance (like oil and tires) things will eventually begin to break down. Even if you take 5 treats a few times a week and work on "sit", "down", "stay", or other learned behaviors this can help substantially compared to never practicing those skills ever again.
If you miss a follow up lesson that is scheduled or cannot make a lesson or a scheduled day training session, just let us know in advance so we can make arrangements to schedule another to keep up your dogs progress. Day training requires a three day a week commitment.
We want to set your dog, and you, up for success!

Daycare
We offer social group daycare with other pups, or standard daycare.
Daycare drop off is between 7:30am and 9:00am. Daycare pick up is between 4:30pm and 6:00pm.
Social group daycare is held on Wednesdays and Thursdays, where owners can book their dog to come visit for the day and socialize with other pups and play. Social group daycare must be booked at least a day in advance to ensure availability.
If your dog requires lunch, please bring a bag of their food for their meal.
Standard daycare is offered daily for owners who may have errands to run or otherwise tied up. Your dog will have plenty of inside and outside time to stretch their legs, hang out, and play or relax.
Social Play Preferences:
Let us know if you’re comfortable with your dog participating in group play or if you'd prefer them to have individual play. We group dogs by size, temperament, and energy level.
